The winning photo of the 2026 Belmont Forum Transdisciplinary Photo Competition, "Through the Lens of Co-Creation: Framing Passion for Sustainable Food Supply" by Ying-Chen Lin and Pin-Hua Ke, was taken during a Co-SFSC field visit in Changhua, Chinese Taipei, on November 1, 2024.

The image shows a camera filming Mr. Kuang-Ching Chen, founder of "Taiwan Soybean Farmer" and a vital local partner of the Chinese Taipei national Hub. A former semiconductor engineer, Mr. Chen transitioned to eco-friendly soybean farming and, in 2024, became the first small-scale agribusiness in Chinese Taipei to win the National Environmental Education Award.

Launched in 2023, the international Co-SFSC consortium — bringing together researchers from Chinese Taipei, Germany, Thailand, Turkey, Sweden, and the USA — explores pathways for sustainable transformation of food supply chains. This award-winning image reflects the project's transdisciplinary approach, capturing how individual dedication at the grassroots level connects to broader national sustainability efforts.
