CO-SFSC meets Fusilli
The FUSILLI Project organized three interesting sessions on “Feeding Cities” at the EASST conference in Amsterdam in July 2024.
Feeding Cities organised sessions to explore the challenges and opportunities for transforming food systems in urban regions. Building on the action research agenda developed during the inaugural Feeding Cities event in June 2023, these sessions emphasised action-oriented research, researcher reflexivity, and experiential case studies. The aim was to identify and address structural barriers while highlighting pathways for meaningful change in this important area.
Two members of the Co-SFSC team (Aylin Topal and Pia Laborgne) participated with a presentation on the governance analysis approach in CO-SFSC.
They learned a lot about the different initiatives and approaches in the cities that are part of Fusilli, e.g. on alternative food networks, living labs, changes in producer-consumer relationships, and making cities shareholders of food transformations.
